Coco Momo Kensington

After visiting the Science Museum we walked west, approx 5/10 minutes, over to Gloucester Road, as we thought the restaurants near the museums/Harrods in South Kensington would be busy on a Saturday. Coco Momo has a lovely atmosphere at lunch time and the service is friendly and efficient. The lamb burger with halloumi and tzatziki with tomato relish was delicious,…

TRIP ADVISOR January 2014

So, anybody who knows me for more than, say, an hour, will most likely have discovered the fact that I LOVE my food. When it’s good it just makes me so happy! But then again, bad ones just make me upset tonight, I went out to dinner with the lovely Francoise and her partner Jeremy in Gloucester Road, Kensington, London. Coco Momo is SUPERB. I love it. I will go back. The service was amazing, so friendly and attentive. It was lovely to have unassuming and welcoming wait staff for a change,¬† especially in Kensington. When asked if it was too late to order the 2 course special (it was 6.55 and it finished at 7) our waitress assured us that was totally ok, with a smile that suggested she perhaps would have let us even if it had been later! Two course specials are notoriously bad, I think, as they are usually the cheapest/easiest meals on their menu and you get very few to choose from. MOVE OVER! I was torn between every option: the roast chicken, rump steak or pumpkin risotto, and butterscotch waffles or berry pavlova for dessert. Um ah. My meal (Risotto and Berry Pav with a glass of Prosecco) was delicious¬† and all for ¬£17 Woohoo!.

Sublime Coco Momo

At The Sublime Coco Momo I chose the Aberdeen Angus beefburger with cheddar cheese, tomato and onion relish, home-cut chips, they cut up the potatoes on the premises every morning and fry them just before serving. The freshly squeezed orange juice was squeezed that morning. Tasted like it. Remarkable. The burger was superb. The chips were real. I informed Seth (the great waiter) “You can tell your boss I’m going to give this a very good review in The Sunday Times”

Love Thy Lunch

Great lunch special – always tasty soup and wrap. I go there often! Don’t make it too crowded for me!

Rave About Coco Momo

Was over from Ireland on a weekend visit. Had lunch with my sister here & was very impressed. Service was prompt, I found the staff to be friendly & courteous and the food was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m over.’
