Lots Road may not be known as a sporting pub but we can’t just ignore the biggest tournament of the rugby calendar. The six nations is on from the 6th February to the 21st March and we will be showing all the games.

After the festivities of Christmas there is just one more celebration to be had. But there’s no need to go on a wild goose chase for a fancy themed costume because Lots Road will be keeping it simple. The food maybe a bit fancier, the music a little louder and there will of course be dancing but most importantly we’ll all be having a great time.

Just arrived, Christmas Cave ale is a collaborative effort from the Truman and Caveman Breweries. It’s a rich hoppy brew with flavours of caramel, orange peel and dark fruits carefully balanced with a combination of four hops and a collection of malts all coming together to make a lovely smooth beer to warm your cockles on these long winter nights.

Because if you have to have Christmas rammed down your throat for the next couple of weeks it may as well be in the form of a good beer.

Thanks to those of you that helped us raise £106 for Save The Children, not bad for one day’s work and a couple of Primark jumpers.

The team are always keen to brighten up Lots Road and even more so when it’s for a good cause. On Friday12^th December we’re joining in with Save the Children’s Christmas jumper day and we’d love you to join us. We’ll have collection boxes on the bar and we’d like you to give generously for those around the world less fortunate than yourself. Just £3 pays for life-saving medication for a sick child.

Our music bingo went down a treat last week so we’re bringing it back every Thursday from 6pm. Collect your free bingo card when you buy a drink and you’ll be in with a chance of winning some fabulous prizes including food, drinks and even a bottle of bubbly.

This Thursday also sees the first night of our Musical bingo which is on every Thursday from 6pm (4^th December). You can pick your cards up at the bar from 5pm, free entry, where one of us lovely lot will explain how it works. Don’t worry, it’s simple enough and there’s a chance to win some great prizes whilst listening to good music.
